Personal Use Plans - Frequently asked questions

What does Gobbill Personal cost?

Gobbill Personal is a free account, with no joining or cancellation fees! It does have limited features compared to our Premium Plan. See our full plans and pricing.

Are there any other charges I should know about?

There are also dishonour and other transaction declined fees. Want to know more? See our Price Schedule.

Why is Gobbill better than direct debit?

Gobbill automates bill payments in one system, while giving users control over their finances. Want to change your payment details? Simply update it in the Gobbill system. Looking to cancel a payment? No need to contact your bank, just change the payment details in your account.

It can be time consuming to contact individual billers to change your direct debit details when a card is lost, stolen or expired.

Other issues with direct debit:

  • Cancelling a direct debit can be a difficult process.
  • Billers often continue to debit your card and are slow to react to customer communication after cancelling a direct debit.
  • If the bill amount is higher than expected or if your bank account does not contain sufficient funds to cover the bill amount, you may be charged a fee.
  • Read our blog post about direct debit

Gobbill flips the process, giving you control of bill amounts and when auto payments are made.

Can I send photo bills to Gobbill?

Yes! Gobbill accepts photo bills for $2 per document on the Personal Plan. There are no extra charges if you have paid for the Premium Plan. To use this new feature simply take a photo or scan your bill and forward the image to your Gobbill email address.
